Imagine Returning Home Rooted & Renewed

What might it feel like to return home after giving yourself four days to step away, slow down, and receive?

Perhaps you feel rested in ways you didn’t realize you needed.

More peaceful and present after having space away from the constant noise and demands of everyday life.

More deeply rooted in God after unhurried time in His presence through worship, prayer, reflection, and stillness.

More aware of what has been depleting you—and what genuinely helps restore you.

Seen, heard, and connected after sharing meaningful time with other women.

Renewed by laughter, beauty, nature, rest, and simply having room to enjoy life.

More hopeful about creating rhythms that allow you to live with greater intention and margin once you return home.

And perhaps you leave with greater clarity about the next step that is right for you.

Your experience at Rooted & Renewed will be uniquely your own.

You don’t need to leave with your whole life figured out.

You may simply leave with something you didn’t have when you arrived—more rest, more awareness, renewed hope, a meaningful connection, a practical next step, or a deeper understanding of what you need to    flourish in this season.

And you’ll return home with practical rhythms of rest and renewal you can continue exploring in everyday life.

Not a new list of things to accomplish.

An invitation to carry what you’ve received with you.

Rested. Renewed. Deeply rooted.

IS THIS YOU?

You're Carrying More Than You Realize

Life may look full and good on the outside.

You’re showing up. Caring for the people you love. Managing responsibilities. Serving, working, giving, planning, responding—and doing your best to stay present for what matters most.

But somewhere underneath all the doing, you may feel...

Tired in ways that sleep alone doesn’t seem to fix.

Mentally full from the constant stream of decisions, information, notifications, and things to remember.

Emotionally depleted from holding space for everyone else while rarely having space to notice what you need.

Pulled in so many directions that even the things and people you value most can begin competing for the same limited time and energy.

Longing for quiet—but finding it difficult to actually create it.

Wanting to slow down—but feeling as though life simply keeps moving.

You’ve Already Tried More Rest

Perhaps you’ve taken a day off.

Planned a vacation.

Slept in when you could.

Started a new devotional, exercise routine, or morning practice.

Promised yourself you’d slow down once you made it through the next busy season.

Maybe you’ve even attended a women’s retreat or conference and came home encouraged—but also needing a little time to recover from everything packed into the weekend.

Perhaps some of what you’ve tried has helped you feel better for a while—yet it hasn’t felt sustainable once you return to the responsibilities and routines of everyday life.

What If You Could Step Away?

What if, for four days, you didn’t have to manage everyone else’s needs?

What if you could wake without rushing into a full schedule?

What if there were space to worship, receive biblical teaching, pray and reflect—and also space to simply be?

To linger over a cup of coffee.

Walk outside and breathe deeply.

Sit quietly with God.

Laugh around the table with other women.

Explore. Rest. Nap. Read. Move your body. Enjoy nature.

Choose conversation when connection feels life-giving—and solitude when quiet is what you need.

What would it feel like to step away from the demands and noise?

To experience:

Space to exhale.

Space to listen.

Space to be present with God.

Space to notice what has become depleted—and what might begin to restore it.

Space to receive the kind of rest that renews.

MAYBE YOUR SOUL IS READY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

Rooted & Renewed is for the woman who...

Carries a lot and often feels internally overwhelmed, fragmented, or depleted—even when life looks fine on the outside.

Longs for unhurried time to be present with Godto listen, pray, worship, and receive without another agenda to accomplish.

Desires meaningful connection with other women while also wanting the freedom to have time and space to herself.

Misses having room for the things that bring her joybeauty, nature, laughter, creativity, play, or simply doing something because she enjoys it.

Feels surrounded by noise, notifications, responsibilities, and competing demands and longs for space to simply be still.

Knows she needs rest, but finds that slowing down, creating margin, or giving herself permission to rest doesn’t always come easily.

Feels tired in ways that sleep alone hasn’t restoredwhether physically, mentally, emotionally, or relationally.

Wants to better understand what genuinely restores her and begin creating practical, sustainable rhythms of rest and renewal for everyday life.

Is ready to step away for a few days and give herself permission to receive rather than continually give.

Recognizes that something in you is longing for room to breathe, receive, and be renewed.

If your soul said yes...then this retreat was created for you.

 I'M READY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT!

ROOTED & RENEWED

A Flourish Women's Retreat

Rooted & Renewed — A Flourish Women's Retreat is an immersive, faith-centered experience created for     women who are ready to step away from the demands of everyday life and make intentional room for rest and renewal.

Through biblical principles, the 7 Types of Rest®, worship, prayer, reflection, meaningful connection, and practical rhythms of renewal, you’ll have space to be present with God, replenish what has become depleted, and consider what restoration can look like in your own life.

And this retreat has been intentionally designed with margin.

You won’t simply hear teaching about the importance of rest while moving through a packed schedule. The        retreat experience itself creates space to slow down—to receive meaningful teaching and worship, enjoy      connection around the table, spend time in nature, choose solitude or recreation, and simply be still.

Because rest is something you receive.

Flourish Women's Retreats were born in part from my own experience of retreats that created space for meaningful transformation in my life. I’ve also known seasons of depletion, burnout, exhaustion, and living without the sustainable rhythms of rest that my mind, body, and spirit needed. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for just how vital rest is—not only to our wellbeing, but to our relationships, our work, our sense of purpose, and our ability to be present for the lives we’ve been given.

I also know that simply telling a woman she needs to “rest more” isn’t enough. We need opportunities to step away from the noise long enough to become aware of what we need, be present with God, and discover rhythms of rest and renewal that can support the lives we are actually living.

That’s why I created Rooted & Renewed. I wanted to create the kind of retreat I believe women are longing for—one with meaningful worship and biblical teaching, practical tools, genuine connection, beauty and joy, and enough intentional margin to actually experience rest.

Not another packed schedule. Not another list of things to accomplish. But a gracious, welcoming space where you can come as you are, open your hands, and receive.

Rest. Receive. Restore.

RESERVE MY PLACE!

REST.

Step away from the constant doing.

Slow down. Exhale. Allow your mind and body to settle.

With intentional margin built into the retreat experience, you'll have time to notice where you may be experiencing rest deficits and explore the 7 Types of Rest®—discovering what genuine restoration might look like for you.

Rest isn't one-size-fits-all.

This is space to begin discovering what genuinely restores you.

Photo of Kentucky Lake at Paris Landing State Park

RECEIVE.

Open your hands.

Make room to be present with God through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, reflection, and stillness—without the pressure to arrive with anything figured out.

Receive the gift of meaningful connection with other women.

Receive quiet when you need quiet.

Receive laughter, beauty, nature, nourishment, and the freedom to simply be.

Come as you are, with an open heart and open hands, and receive what the Lord has for you.

RESTORE.

Restoration isn't simply about feeling better for a few days and returning home to the same pace.

Through the 7 Types of Rest® framework and practical rhythms of renewal, you'll be invited to recognize what has become depleted and consider sustainable ways to replenish those areas in everyday life.

You may leave with greater awareness of what you need, practices you want to carry forward, meaningful connection, renewed perspective—or simply the gift of having had room to rest and receive.

Your experience will be your own.

The invitation is not to return home with another list of things you should be doing.

It's to carry what you've received into your everyday life—rooted and renewed.

Space.

Space where every hour doesn't need to be productive.

Space where you don't have to take care of everyone else.

Space where you can choose connection when you want company and solitude when you need quiet.

Space to listen.

Space to receive.

Space to simply be.

Jen Stone-Sexton

Founder of Freedom to Flourish Ministries, Certified 7 Types of Rest® Trainer & Wellbeing Consultant, Christian Life Coach, Speaker, Author and creator of Flourish Women's Retreats.

At the heart of all I do is a passion to create sacred spaces for women to grow in faith, freedom and fruitfulness and flourish in mind, body and spirit.

For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of encouraging, equipping, mentoring, and walking alongside women in their faith and personal growth—and I love gathering women together in spaces where we can grow, connect authentically, and encourage one another.

Through those years, my professional training, and my own lived experience, I’ve come to understand deeply that we cannot flourish from a place of continual depletion. I’ll gently guide you as you explore what genuine rest and restoration look like for you. Come with a willingness to step away, make space, and receive.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

It would be my joy to welcome you, walk alongside you, and create space for whatever the Lord may have for you during our time together.

You were created to flourish. 🦋

Have Questions? Let's Answer Them.

Is lodging included in my retreat registration?

No. Lodging is reserved and paid for separately through Paris Landing State Park Lodge.

Each participant will reserve her own room for October 15–18, 2026. Standard King or Double Queen rooms with a balcony          and lake view start at $525 + tax for three nights. Continental breakfast each morning is included with your lodge room.

Because we do not have a contracted room block and rooms remain available to the general public, I encourage you to reserve your room promptly after securing your retreat place. An email with complete lodging reservation information will be      provided immediately after you register for Rooted & Renewed.

Room rates are set by Paris Landing State Park Lodge and are subject to availability and change.

Lodge check-in begins Thursday, October 15 at 4:00 pm, with check-out by 11:00 am on Sunday, October 18.

Which meals are included?

Your Thursday Welcome Dinner and lunch on Friday and Saturday are included with your retreat registration.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, we’ll gather for dinner together at the Paris Landing Lodge Restaurant.

These two dinners are purchased separately, allowing you to select and pay for the meal of your choice.

Continental breakfast is included with your lodge room.

What if I’m coming by myself?

Wonderful—you will be warmly welcomed!

Rooted & Renewed is intentionally designed as an intimate retreat experience where there is room for meaningful connection without the expectation that you need to arrive already knowing someone.

You’ll have opportunities to gather, share meals, worship, learn, laugh, and connect with other women throughout our time together.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! Share this page with her so she can learn more about Rooted & Renewed and reserve her own retreat place.

Because the retreat is intentionally limited to 10 women, each participant will need to register separately to secure her place.

If you’d like to share a room, you’re welcome to do so! You and your friend can coordinate your lodging together and reserve a Double Queen room through Paris Landing State Park Lodge. Only one room reservation is needed when sharing accommodations.

Will I have to participate in every activity?

No. The retreat experience is intentionally created to provide margin and choice.

Outside of our shared retreat gatherings and meals, you’ll have space to choose what feels restorative to you. Depending on weather and availability, there may be opportunities to enjoy nature, recreation, or other optional activities—or you may          choose to rest, spend time alone, connect with other women, or simply be still.

Will there really be time to rest?

Yes. You won't simply hear teaching about the importance of rest while moving through a packed schedule.

The Rooted & Renewed experience itself has been intentionally designed with margin—giving you space for meaningful        worship and teaching, connection around the table, nature, solitude, recreation, and genuine rest.

What if I’m not very good at resting?

Then you’re in good company. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what rest looks like for you.

Through the 7 Types of Rest® framework, guided reflection, practical tools, and the experience of having intentional margin,    you'll have opportunities to become more aware of where you may be experiencing rest deficits and explore what genuinely restores you.

What should I bring?

As the retreat approaches, you'll receive detailed information to help you prepare, including suggested clothing, personal items, arrival information, and what to bring with you.

Because October weather in Tennessee can vary, we'll provide the most helpful recommendations closer to the retreat.

What if I have dietary needs or food allergies?

You’ll have an opportunity to share relevant dietary needs or food allergies before the retreat so we can plan appropriately for      the meals provided as part of your retreat experience.

For meals purchased separately at the Paris Landing Lodge Restaurant, please communicate any dietary needs directly with          the restaurant when ordering.

When should I arrive, and when does the retreat end?

Rooted & Renewed begins Thursday, October 15. Lodge check-in is available beginning at  4:00 pm with retreat check-in from 4:00–5:30 pm. Our Welcome Dinner begins at 6:00 pm, so please plan to arrive with enough time to check in, get settled, and join us for dinner.

Our retreat concludes on Sunday, October 18, with our Closing Session from 9:00–10:00 am and lodge check-out by 11:00 am.

You are also warmly welcome to arrive a day or two early or extend your stay after the retreat if you’d like additional time to enjoy Paris Landing and the surrounding area. Any additional nights would be reserved directly with the lodge and are separate from your retreat registration.

A complete retreat itinerary will be provided to you before the retreat so you’ll know what to expect and can plan your        travel accordingly.

What is the nearest airport?

The nearest major airport is Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Nashville, Tennessee.

How far is Paris Landing State Park from Nashville International Airport (BNA)?

Paris Landing State Park is approximately 110 miles from Nashville International Airport (BNA).

When is my final payment due?

If you reserve your place with the $500 deposit, your remaining retreat balance is due by September 30, 2026.

You will receive a reminder and invoice before your final payment is due.

If retreat space and lodging through Paris Landing Lodge are available, the full Founder’s Rate of $1,095 is due at registration        for any retreat registrations made September 29–30. Lodging through Paris Landing State Park Lodge is booked separately.

What is the cancellation policy?

Because Flourish Women’s Retreats are intimate experiences with limited availability and preparations are made specifically for each participant in advance, retreat deposits are non-refundable.

However, I understand that sometimes life brings unexpected circumstances. If you’re unable to attend, your deposit may be transferred one time to a future Flourish Women’s Retreat, subject to the transfer provisions outlined in the Flourish Women’s Retreat Terms & Conditions.

Please review the complete Terms & Conditions before registering for full cancellation and transfer details.

When does registration close?

Registration closes September 30, 2026, or when all 10 retreat spaces have been reserved—whichever comes first.

Sometimes going away can be the first step toward coming home.

Your Place Is Waiting

Maybe you’ve been telling yourself you’ll slow down when life settles down.

When the project is finished.

When everyone else is taken care of.

When there’s finally more room in the calendar.

But perhaps what you need isn’t to wait for margin to appear.

Perhaps it’s time to intentionally create it.

For four days, you’re invited to step away from the noise and responsibilities of everyday life and enter a space created for you to rest, receive, and restore.

Come experience meaningful worship and biblical teaching.

Come enjoy connection, laughter, beauty, nature, and room to breathe.

Come discover more about what genuinely restores you.

Come make space to be present with God.

Come without needing to have everything figured out.

Come as you are.

I would be honored to welcome you to the inaugural Rooted & Renewed — A Flourish Retreat at Paris Landing.
