Dear Friends,
In July my middle niece celebrated her high school graduation with a party for friends and family after graduating in June. Graduation is cause enough for celebration, but even more so for her. As a child and a teen she went through some very difficult and painful years and many people prayed for her during that time. A turning point came when her father said that no matter what she did, he would always love her. Yes, there were consequences for her behavior, but nothing would ever cause him to stop loving her.
Isn't that what we all need to know? That we are loved no matter what? That's the kind of love God has for us. A love not based on what we do but based on who He is, a loving Father who never lets go.
Like many of us, my niece has experienced many setbacks in her life but instead of allowing them to define her, with the love and support of her parents and family, she has turned them into comebacks. Where in your life have you allowed a setback to stop you? Belmont University recently hosted a "FailFest", an event focused on how failure can be seen as a transformative tool when grounded in humility and joy. Participants were encouraged to view it as FAIL - First Attempts in Learning, instead of correlating failure with their identity. How can you turn a perceived failure or setback into a comeback? There's no time like now to do so!

Five Core Fears that Warp Ambition
Rosengren points out, "the more psychologically salient a fear, the more likely we are to avoid or suppress it. As a result, we may not be aware how much fear is driving our work [and all of our decisions]."
As a coach, I have found fear to be the primary barrier to clients feeling peace, having hope and experiencing lasting change. Our Christ-centered coaching focus is built on timeless biblical principles, while incorporating powerful tools, so that you can overcome fear and and maximize your God-given potential.
