Dear Jennifer, 

I hope you are savoring the sun-soaked season of summer! On a personal note, I've been trying to balance work with more rest this year so as to enjoy the unique gifts that this season offers. One of those seasonal gifts are the fireworks on the 4th of July! 

In my early twenties, I was blessed to sing and tour with the global Christian ministry, the Continental Singers. The experience, growth and relationships forged over three summers, forever shaped me and influenced the trajectory of my college studies and life. Two of those summers, I remember singing outside at fairgrounds in the sweltering humid heat of the Midwest on July 4th, before nightfall brought a cool reprieve and the sky lit up with colorful fireworks! What are some of your favorite things about summertime?
