Dear Friends,

There are seasons when exhaustion is obvious. And there are seasons when we’ve become so used to pushing through that we no longer recognize how tired we truly are.

Physical rest is not laziness.
It is not weakness.
It is not something to earn only after you’ve done “enough.”

Physical rest is a God-given invitation to renew, restore, and receive care in the body that carries your life.

Jesus understood this need well. In the midst of ministry, demands, and people needing Him, He told His disciples:

“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

What if rest is not interruption… but wisdom?
What if honoring your limits is one way you honor God?

This month, as we reflect on physical rest—and as we celebrate Father’s Day—we also honor those who have carried much, worked hard, provided faithfully, and may need permission to receive replenishment too.

You do not have to run on empty.
You are allowed to rest.

This reflection is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and allow God to meet you right where you are.

Take a quiet moment and consider:

  1. Where is my body asking for care right now?
  2. Have I treated rest as optional instead of essential?
  3. What would it look like to honor my physical limits with compassion this week?

Prayer: “Lord, thank You for the body You have given me. Help me listen when I need pause, nourishment, movement, or sleep. Release me from striving and teach me to receive rest as a gift, not a reward. Renew my strength and restore what has been depleted. Amen.”

A Special Invitation: The Sacred Summer Pause

Summer is meant to be a season of refreshment, yet for many women it becomes one of the busiest and most overwhelming times of the year. Between disrupted routines, family responsibilities, travel, social commitments, and the pressure to make the most of every moment, it's easy to finish the season feeling depleted rather than restored.

If you're longing to reclaim your time, establish healthier boundaries, and embrace a more life-giving rhythm of rest, The Sacred Summer Pause was created for you.

This exclusive 1-on-1 coaching experience will help you move from overwhelm to intentionality so you can enter the fall season feeling rested, grounded, and aligned with God's pace for your life.

Over the next 90 days, we will journey together to:

Flourish Wellness Tip

A Simple Physical Rest Practice

The 10-Minute Body Reset

When life feels full, start small.

Choose one 10-minute act of physical restoration this week:

  • Stretch gently
  • Take a slow walk outside
  • Lie down and breathe deeply
  • Put your legs up the wall
  • Take a power nap
  • Step into sunlight and fresh air
  • Go to bed 30 minutes earlier

The goal is not perfection.
The goal is learning to respond when your body needs care.
