Dear Friends,
Have you ever had an idea, a spark, or a nudge to do something and then ignored it? Yet find yourself thinking about it only to dismiss it again? Perhaps it's a desire to eat healthier foods, get more exercise, join a group with others who share the same interest, try a new class, wear a different style, change your career, discover a new hobby, hire a life coach. Whatever it is, have you ever noticed that once you try it (if you try it) a sense of accomplishment and excitement follows? That ah-ha moment of, "Oh! This is amazing! Why did I wait so long?"
Your soul and Holy Spirit are prompting you out of your routine and comfort zone in order to explore, grow, and experience life on a different level. When you resist this prompting, you remain stuck. But what happens when you stop resisting and start engaging? What happens when you break through the resistance and the limiting beliefs to discover freedom on the other side? What happens when a seed germinates and pushes through the resistance of dark soil into sunlight and air?

What I have discovered is what I resist most is likely to be the very thing I need. To learn. To grow. To be set free. To be my best self. What (healthy choice) in your life are you resisting? More often than not, the lesson we are learning is not what we think it is. Embrace the mystery of life as it unfolds. What would it look like to greet each day with an attitude of expectation and anticipation of what God will do hand in hand with you?
Prayer: "Lord, where in my life do You want me to grow? Is there something You want me to let go of? Please help me see resistance for what it is. To identify what I am resisting and why. Give me the courage and grace to discover that the place of greatest resistance is often the place of greatest learning, healing, and growth. Thank you. Amen."

Fitness to Flourish
What is one area you want to improve on in your health and fitness this year? Close your eyes and imagine - what would it feel like to live at your best? To feel vibrant, look radiant, have energy and mental clarity? This year I'm on my own health journey as I address the core cause of some imbalances and heal at a cellular level through holistic and alternative therapies.
Spring is a great time to incorporate healthy habits into your life one small decision and step at a time. It's more difficult to start a new habit in the dead of winter, when we are cold and craving warmth, light, and comfort food! Spring is also a perfect time to engage with a life coach to gain clarity, set specific goals, explore beliefs driving behavior, and break through barriers.

A little about me: Health and Wellness is something I am incredibly passionate about! Fitness (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and relational) is one of my Core Values - one which is woven into the fabric of my daily habits, mindset, choices, priorities and life. In addition, I've completed over 500 hours of teacher training in yoga including human anatomy, breath work, and Ayurvedic medicine and have been teaching and coaching in that space for over 14 years.
